ATAP as of Week 13

     I managed to get caught up on all my analyzations, and I think my website came out fairly decent. I'm actually pretty proud of all the primary sources I found, and the message that develops across my website content. My word count may be a little under final quality, but I am legitimately proud of my results. I am not, however, proud of my own work ethic and time management. Two areas which I will need to work on in the future, and two areas where I failed on this project, leading to an outcome which under the circumstances I can be proud of, I am not proud of when considering the overall pacing of the course.

This creates the idea of uniqueness, but this is not the idea that Warhol desired to display. The opposite, the repetitive nature of the pictures is where Warhol's intentions lie. Modernism in a Physical Display

Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloyd Wright, 1959; Source: Trendir     The above work, the Guggenheim Museum, effectively displays the values of Modernism while appealing to a wider audience, all through design and aesthetic characteristics, which brings about ideas of today's fluid working environment. The Guggenheim's tiered, circular upper portion serves two purposes. The first provides a spiraling interior used to display artwork in a way which allows the audience to flow through the work in a sequence. The second is to emphasize the freedom within Modernism. The building rejects the square-cornered boundaries of the surrounding city, instead focusing on dynamic curves which invite viewers to explore freedom of expression. The museum houses works of art, while it's own exterior is a Modernist work, creating a feeling of interest and artisanship within onlookers. Enlightenment Movement and Culture

      The Enlightenment was a revolutionary cultural movement which serves as a basis for much of modern science, philosophy and society. It championed reason and renounced the feudalist ways of the past, paving the way for the average citizen in society. Out of the Enlightenment emerged the first glimpses of equality among people.
