Course Reflection
Over the duration of this course I enjoyed all the topics and the majority of assignments. I found each artistic movement extremely interesting, and I enjoyed the challenge of analyzing works other than literature. I think that in each movement I learned something different, and honed my critical analysis skills. I found the pacing to be very balanced, although towards the end my own struggles with time management led to a bit of a landslide of work. This is obviously no fault of the course. I found the unique elements of each movement a great weekly source of challenge, working through each was entertaining as well. The layout of the course, especially the chronological nature makes everything easy to connect, and allows for each unit to flow into the next. Starting out, I wasn't sure if I could handle using all the different tools, such as Blogger, sites, padlet, and other infographic media tools. After the first week, though, it turned out to be very manageable, and with some organization of my chrome bookmarks, I found it to be a better system than some of my other classes which struggled with the transition to an all online environment. I found it apparent that an extreme degree of care and enthusiasm went into the curriculum of this course. At first, I found the same daunting nature of something as foreign to me as the new web tools within the subject of art. I was honestly unsure if I would even enjoy studying art. The same situation played out, though. By week two I hit my stride and began to grow my understanding of all the topics, with any questions I had answered by a quick look through of the course website. I would like to say thank you for a great semester, and a great class.

I really enjoyed the way in which you set up your final project. I especially like that instead of having the final section in one long excerpt that it is spilt up into many different sections all while pertaining to the final section as a whole. It was very nice to see the imagines laid out next to the writing about them.
